Microsoft Research Summer School on Parallel Computing opens the registration of participants
During the summer holidays, the research division of Microsoft - Microsoft Research holds the annual largest event for graduate students, senior students and young scientists - the Summer School. This year the school will be held in St. Petersburg in cooperation with ITMO from 22 to 29 August 2012.
School goal
Provide students from leading universities of the country a unique opportunity to learn about the latest achievements in the field of parallel computing.
Provide unique conditions for the exchange of experience between students and teachers during the week of intensive classes under the guidance of leading international experts in the field of computational sciences.
School topics : parallel computing (Concurrency and Parallelism in Software). School format : lectures and practical classes, poster presentations of students, a software project. ')
During the entire week of study, students will actively communicate with leading foreign and Russian scientists, which will allow students to demonstrate their knowledge on the basis of tests and establish new contacts during joint classes.
