Welcome to the Quality Assurance Day conference.

Quality is one of the most important success factors for any software. Quality can be affected in many ways. These include development organization processes, code quality assurance techniques, architectural solutions, and testing approaches. The industry has gained a lot of experience in this area, and the use of these developments can help resolve many issues. That's why on March 30, Microsoft, together with CareerLab, for the third time, is holding a Quality Assurance Day conference — a conference for those who care about software quality.

This time the organizing team significantly expanded the content of the conference. The main goal that we pursued was to make an industrial event dedicated to quality issues. Invited one of the most famous gurus in the field of quality assurance and testing organization - Rex Black .
Rex is one of the most successful authors, speakers and practitioners in the industry. By the way, his latest book “Managing the Testing Process” has sold more than 25,000 copies. His 25 year career in testing includes positions like Honorary President of ASTQB and ISTQB. Now Rex is President of RBCS, Inc. world leader in software, hardware and system testing.
The conference will bring together experts from Microsoft, Intel, Performance Lab, Parallels, Quest Software, Sela. Three streams of reports are planned for testers, developers and their managers. Conference participants will be among the first in Russia to get the opportunity to learn about the new features of the Visual Studio Test Professional 2011 test environment, about how to test applications for Windows 8, and about the Unit testing technologies in Visual Studio 11. A very interesting track on the processes and test management is planned.
