Chamber Toastmasters Club Meeting at EPAM

EPAM has a platform for meetings and trainings for personal and professional growth of IT specialists.

First, in the framework of corporate development, this platform was used by members of the club Chamber Toastmasters

Since January this year, at the EPAM office, at Kudryashov 14-B, at 19.15, every Wednesday, regular meetings of this club are held under the auspices of Toastmasters International.

Toastmasters International is a non-profit organization that unites public speaking clubs worldwide. Clubs Toastmasters work on well-developed programs, the purpose of which is to improve the skills of performance and development of leadership skills. These programs have proven to be effective in the corporate environment and find their application in many well-known companies.

The standard meeting of the Toastmasters club consists of three parts:
1. Prepared speeches from members of the club, where they develop their speaking skills based on the personal growth program.
2. Table conversation Session, in which the presenter sets the topic for discussion and invites impromptu to both club members and guests of the meeting.
3. The evaluation part (Evaluation), when experienced speakers evaluate the performances in the first two parts, make their comments and suggestions, focus on the grammar used and the time spent and encourage the participants to further improvement.

The Toastmasters club program has aroused the serious interest of EPAM employees, especially from among the managers, since it contributes to the development of skills and the formation of a relationship that is crucial both in communication with customers and in collaboration within the company.

Registration is not required yet. The main thing is to take a document with you and come 5-10min before the start.
