Microsoft will connect online services with desktop

Talking to Microsoft about connecting their online services to desktops will stop being talk this week - Windows Installer will finally appear before Windows users, providing access to many Windows Live services.

According to the New York Times , Microsoft will release the Windows Live Installer the other day, which will include Mail, Messenger, OneCare Family Safety antivirus, and Windows Live Writer blogging software. This release will provide PC users with the ability to download a set of services with a single installer, as well as individual components.
