Winter SumIT startup school

SumIT is the first step towards creating your startup. From February 18 to March 14 in St. Petersburg

SumIT will provide free of charge:

1. fully equipped coworking
2. help of an expert startup accelerator iDealMachine
3. daily seminars and workshops
4. opportunity to present your project to investors

During SumIT’s work in the summer of 2011 , 2,000 people visited us, as well as:

• 200 ideas were proposed;
• received 100 applications from projects for the investment session;
• 30 useful lectures, seminars and master classes were held;
• We presented 3 iPad2, 2 tablets and one iPhone4 to the winners of contests.

This winter, the second SumIT startup school will be held in St. Petersburg.

The opening of the school. SumIT Weekend. February 18th and 19th.

Over the weekend, the authors of the projects will work out their idea with experts and successful businessmen, and will also be able to find specialists in the team. All the rest are waiting for the speeches of industry leaders, informal communication with like-minded people and the opportunity to join an interesting project.

As a result of the work over the weekend, 10 teams will be selected, which will fall on SumIT. The best project managers start-up accelerator iDealMachine will be offered $ 20,000.

Free coworking and expert help. February 20 - March 9

The teams will be provided with a fully equipped coworking in the ITMO building at the Exchange Line, 14. Throughout the work, experts from the iDealMachine start-up accelerator and the SumIT team will assist the participants.

Open University and Hackatons

Every evening for the participants of the marathon and everyone will be held seminars and master classes. Leading experts in their fields will talk about project management, technology, design, legal aspects, interaction with investment funds and much more.

We will hold the open hackathons that have become traditional for our event. Anyone can compete for the prize by creating an application on a given topic for the weekend.

Contest of ideas. Call for applications until February 16

As well as before the summer SumIT, we announce a competition of business ideas. Winners will be determined by the number of reposts in social networks and on the basis of peer review. The grand prize, the Apple iPad, will be presented at SumIT Weekend.

The investment session and the main prize is a place in the iDealMachine startup accelerator. March 14th

The event will end with a closed investment session in which teams will present their projects to representatives of investment funds. At the closing ceremony will be announced the best project of the school, which will receive a place in the startup accelerator iDealMachine.
