The Wii is extremely lucky. With Valve Software

Gabe Newell, one of the founders of the Valve Software studio, famous for its Half-Life and Half-Life 2 shooters, is a game for the whole universe and not only that Valve will start developing games for Nintendo Wii. In one of his interviews, Newell said that Valve is interesting for the console because of its gaming manipulator, equipped with a built-in motion sensor. I think this is not the only reason. Still, Wii is selling very well, so grab a piece of cake from this celebration of Valve's virtual life is not averse.

But the reasons are really not that important. The important thing is that in the near future for the Wii, such games by Valve Software as Half-Life 2 and Team Fortress 2 can be released. This, of course, will greatly stimulate interest in the console itself. True, porting to Wii Half-Life 2: The Orange Box (will be released in early October) is not yet known. But for the PlayStation 3 port is almost ready (they are occupied by experts from Electronic Arts).
