Ukraine proposes to prohibit by law to close sites with illegal content

The story about closing the popular Ex.ua file sharing service that has been sensational for the past few weeks will most likely cause a curious precedent that, hopefully, the impossibility of closing entire Internet services in Ukraine due to unlicensed content .

Some authoritative sources in the Ukrainian press claim that the youngest son of the current Ukrainian president had not the last impact on ex.ua's return to life. The mention of this fact is given here because today a bill on amending the law “On Telecommunications” was submitted to the Ukrainian parliament by a well-known deputy from the ruling party.
