Microsoft removed the start button

As reported by TheVerge , in the new build of Windows 8 at number 8220, the Start button has been removed. As we remember, in previous builds, in a rush of attempts to conform to the style of Metro, the Start button has already been changed. This time, the developers came up more radically, removing it altogether.

According to some data, the functionality that the Start button performed was now delegated to the so-called “active corners”, which work in both normal and Metro mode.

It is worth recalling that for the first time the Start menu was provided to us as early as 1995, along with Windows 95.
