The first "StartupDay" in Chelyabinsk

Hello colleagues!

We are glad to inform you that in less than a month - on February 26 - a large “StartupDay” will take place in Chelyabinsk, to which we are pleased to invite the authors of the projects - both startups are brilliant, and those who, up to genius, lack a little advice from professionals.

The program of the event includes speakers, presentations and discussion of start-ups, professional communication with colleagues and experts.

Speakers and reports "StartupDay-Chelyabinsk"

“What happens to startups in Russia and in the world”
Dmitry Kalaev, founder and managing partner of the venture fund RedButton Capital, founder of the Mentor Club, initiator of the creation of the “Ural IT Cluster”, co-owner of the Naumen company.
By the end of the day, Dmitry will hold another presentation - "Investors and development institutions - where to get money for the project." In addition, Dmitry will moderate the event.

“The Fast Way from the Urals to Silicon Valley: A Real Success Story”
Kostarev Aleksey, director and co-owner of i-Jet Media. This is the person who made millions of Vkontakte users grow virtual tomatoes for real money in the game “Happy Farmer” all day long.
In addition, Alexey is Managing Partner of the RedButton Capital Foundation, IT Man 2010, finalist of the Mashable Awards award in the Entrepreneur of the Year nomination and Forbes cover man.

“Enough conditions: my recipes for investing in innovative businesses”
Eugene Sharovarin, Managing Partner of the RedButton Capital Foundation, “IT Man 2011”, IT producer and business angel.
This is a man who already in the late 80s successfully sold computers, which cost as much as two Zhiguli, and then one of the first to start implementing IT solutions and products that led him to success. Evgeny made the largest deal in the Urals in the field of mergers and acquisitions of the IT industry - the sale of the system integrator N1 in the region “ASC Group of Companies”.

"How much from whom and when to ask for money"
Leonid Volkov, well-known IT investor and public figure, managing partner of the Projector company, deputy of the Yekaterinburg City Duma, former director of SKB Kontur. Leonid, in his own words, is engaged in “growing up” startups, preparing them for presentation to serious investors.
He really knows who to ask for money from, and he is ready to tell about it!

StartupDay-Chelyabinsk will be held at the UWDC-2012 conference, which is held for the third time and is already one of the largest IT events in the Urals. Participation in the conference is paid, but the authors of startups that have passed the preliminary selection will receive free tickets to UWDC.

What needs to be done if you want to submit your project to StartupDay-Chelyabinsk?

Literally three simple steps:
  1. read a small memo for the authors of the projects ;
  2. write about yourself and your project to the curator of the startup section Renata Abyasova at mail@seenta.ru ;
  3. get an answer on the result of the preliminary selection (15 projects will be selected for participation).

There is very little time left before the event, so it makes sense to apply right now.

See you in Chelyabinsk!
