EX.ua left alone!

Not so long ago, sad news sounded about the closure of the popular file sharing ex.ua. Authorities blocked the domain, as well as seized server hardware. Read more here.

I would like to announce the good news regarding these events: “The authorities have gone to meet Internet users!” As reported in the news. At the moment, the resource is still unavailable, but in the near future they promise to return everything to its place, including free content of 6000 terabytes.

Now that actually influenced the decision of the authorities.
We are talking about public resources that were attacked by "hackers". According to media reports, the following sites were hacked:
- President of Ukraine (currently hosted on a spare hosting);
- Cabinet of Ukraine (already restored);
- Ministry of the Interior
- Security Service of Ukraine

Attacks were made by both professional burglars and novice amateurs. For hacking state resources, the authorities promise punishment of imprisonment for up to 5 years, as well as articles on grouped and organized crime will be considered if hackers have agreed among themselves. Searches are conducted by ip addresses.

As programmers of state resources report, “Everything has been slain by a large number of requests,” as I understand it is about dos-attacks. Read more about hacking here.
