Firefox 10 has been released.

What's new:

• The “Forward” button in the navigation pane is no longer displayed until you go back a page (for this, the button must be flush with the address bar);
• Most add-ons are now compatible with Firefox by default;
• Added antialiasing support for WebGL;
• Added support for CSS3 3D-Transforms;
• Added support for the element intended to isolate bidirectional text, as well as the corresponding CSS properties;
• Added full-screen APIs that allow you to create web applications that work in full-screen mode;
• Added IndexedDB API, allowing better compliance with the specification;
• Added a tool to inspect the contents of a web page with highlight content, which includes a new inspector of CSS-styles;
• A simple Orion code editor has been added to the simple JavaScript editor built into Firefox, allowing developers to edit more than just plain text. The Orion code editor has syntax highlighting and many other functions that make it easy to write JavaScript code;
• Fixed an issue where some Mac OS X users after installing the latest Java release from Apple could have crashed Firefox when closing a tab with a Java applet;
• Fixed an issue where some users had a browser crash when moving bookmarks.

With the release of the 10th version, the developers also added a new type of release client - ESR (Extended Support Release). By analogy with other products, the ESR versions are primarily targeted at corporate customers who are not satisfied with the software, which is independently updated every 6 weeks. ESR release is a stable version of Firefox, which will be updated every 7 releases of the “regular” version. Automatic updates for the ESR release will take place only in case of detection and correction of bugs.
