Let me remind you that this service is still owned by Nokia, which continues to support Navteq afloat, despite its financial difficulties. According to representatives of Yandex, the purchase will work for the benefit of Yandex.Maps users: a detailed world map will be created. It is known that detailed maps of all countries of the world have been bought, but, unfortunately, the issue price remains a mystery.

It is clear that Navteq maps are best shown by such regions as Europe, the USA, Canada, South America, some of the countries of Asia. On the maps, as it should be, all main roads, street names, house numbers are displayed. According to the developers of the domestic service, soon all the necessary data will be transferred to Yandex.Maps. Well, webmasters will have the opportunity to embed maps on their resources - about the same as in the case of a similar service from Google.
