SocialFolders - “Social Dropbox”

French startup ftopia has released SocialFolders desktop program for backing up and synchronizing content in a dozen social services: Evernote, Facebook, Flickr, Photobucket, Google Docs, Box, SmugMug, Picasa, YouTube (download only), Twitter (download only) and Instagram (download only ), new ones are gradually added. Just download and install the client (for now only under Windows and Mac). The program works with each social service as if it were a folder for remote storage of files: “social folders” - hence the name. Moving photos from one site to another is no more difficult here than copying files from one folder on your computer to another.

In addition to controlling their information, this program also saves time, because through SocialFolders it is faster to upload content to sites, as well as to quickly download friend’s photo albums from the cloud (although the program author hates the word cloud, well, it’s understandable ). You can download new photos of friends automatically, in sync mode.

The program is free on volumes up to 2000 files, for invitations they add 1000 files to each of the two. The startup hopes to make money on premium accounts ($ 1.99 per month or $ 9.99 per year).
