Graduate and Postgraduate Studies in Japan: 2012

It seemed that quite recently I was writing about the possibility of being trained in a Japanese magistracy or in graduate school . However, the New Year holidays were held, and with them came new news, with which I want to acquaint everyone who is interested in this short note (even kata is not required!):
  1. It seems that one of the hacker readers has become our undergraduate (according to my recommendation) this year! Details will not be yet - I am afraid to frighten off. In another instance, his application must be endorsed. If everything works out, I will ask you to write about impressions.
  2. In April, the general reception of applications through the embassies opens. Magistrates and postgraduate studies , as well as basic higher education are available . Honestly, I did not know that we could go immediately after school, but it turns out that there is such a program. However, I am not sure whether it is worth advising it - the less education a candidate has, the more “lottery”, since it is not clear how to sift out the good ones from the not so good ones.
  3. The scholarship for undergraduates is 152 thousand yen, i.e. about 60 thousand rubles at the current rate. For doctoral students a little more, for a bachelor degree - less. All fellows are exempt from tuition fees. In addition, at the expense of Japan paid flight.
  4. All required documents can be issued in two weeks. The exception is the TOEFL certificate. It is optional, but very desirable.
Of course, you can plan to study at any Japanese university, but I, as a patriot of my institution, will agitate for it . As usual, I will be glad to answer any questions. Just read, please, first my posts and wander through the links. And the last time there were already so many questions, the answers to which were already given in the text.
