Motorola Mobility sues Apple again

In the world of mobile device manufacturers, there is seldom a lull - all the time, someone quarrels with someone. In general, many companies that start litigation are guided by the principle of “nothing personal, only business,” and sometimes sue companies that were friendly a couple of months ago. Probably, one of the leaders in terms of the number of conflicts is Apple. Now and against Apple filed a lot of lawsuits. Motorola Mobility is also included in the list of companies that sued Apple Cell (this unit was sold by Google a few months ago, with a huge patent package).

This week, Motorola Mobility, which has not yet become part of the “Corporation of Good” (regulators are still considering the possibility of closing the deal), sued Apple for the violation of six Motorola Mobility patents at once. And all violations are related to the iPhone 4S. According to Motorola Mobility, in this device some technologies were used, the rights to which belong to this company.

Along with the device itself, Motorola Mobility representatives saw violations in relation to the iCloud service. The company's management believes that this service from Apple also uses some technology, the rights to which belong to MM (Motorola Mobility). Actually, the possibility of completing the trial in favor of MM is quite high - but, as is usually the case, the trial can drag on for many months, or even years.

Actually, the fact that MM began to sue Apple is not surprising - Google now takes ownership of a large package of patents acquired along with MM, and many companies are clearly not upset it. As for this claim, Google prefers to say that they have nothing to do with it, because MM, strictly speaking, is not yet an asset of the "Corporation of Good". But here you can and doubt, agree.
