What to fight for?
$ 5,000 for a student winning competition
$ 5000 for the winner’s supervisor
ticket to the
Global Summit 2012 in the United States for 3 days for the official presentation of the prize with the flight and accommodation (paid for accommodation for 3 nights).
And of course, you and your project will be posted on the international and Russian sites of InterSystems - and this is the glory and attention of InterSystems partners around the world.
What you need to win?
Your application should be interesting, useful, relevant and effectively use InterSystems technology.
Here are some student projects won in past years.
Successful bid criteria:
- availability of small but intelligible documentation in English;
- the application must support English;
- it is good if the application is deployed on the Internet;
- excellent if there will be a video clip with English comments explaining how the application works;
- presentation in ppt or pdf format in English is required;
- It is not necessary to send the source code, but it is advisable to put it into available git / svn resources: github, google-code;
- the application should make sense, at least for you.
Everyone has chances: in 2010 and in 2008, the competition was won by Russian student teams, and in a recent competition, the
InterSystems GlobalsDB Challenge , a Russian programmer also won.
The deadline for submitting an application is February 13, 2012!There is not much time - but when did students worry about lack of time?
