The creator of the cloud-based IDE
Cloud 9 at the
Node.js NodeSummit conference plans to present a number of new improvements in its product, simultaneously presenting to the community an English-language collection of documentation on Node.js, which is available at
nodemanual.org .
The entire collection is divided into two parts - Basic and Tutorials; at the same time, there is no “HowTo” for beginners, so we can say that the target audience of the site is still professionals in Node.js. The authors of most articles are the developers of Mozilla and Joyent, and the examples presented in the documentation can be run on Cloud9, having an account in it. GitHub collection can be found
here .
Daniels also intends to introduce the
nodebits.org blog, aimed at "... maintaining the spirit of Node.js and innovation." Now the blog is not distinguished by a large number of articles (the first is dated only on December 30), but it is promised to be replenished, calling Tim Caswell, Bert Belder, Ben Noordhuis among the authors of the Node.js community leading authors.
