Toshiba introduced a waterproof tablet with wireless charging

Needless to say, the tablet, immersed in an aquarium with water, and yes even charging "through the air" is a good move from Toshiba. If you just say that "our tablet is not afraid of water," now it will have no effect anymore. But to immerse the device under water, such a move will immediately attract the attention of visitors. Well, and as mentioned above, the device is able to replenish the battery energy without any wires.

True, the distance between the charger and the tablet itself was only a few centimeters, but more is usually not needed - now all such chargers work in close proximity to the device.

As a prototype for the presented tablet was taken Regza Tablet, a relatively new Toshiba tablet, announced in April last year. The display diagonal of this device is 10.1 inches. Unfortunately, Toshiba showed a demo model only to attract attention to its technologies, so far the waterproof tablet will not be sold.

And yes, the efficiency of energy transfer "through the air" in relation to this device is also unknown - the developers did not say a word about it.
