Yesterday it became known that two large companies, Ericsson and ZTE, were able to find a common language. Previously, these companies were suing for several patents. The initiator of the suit was the company Ericsson, which accused ZTE of violating the rights of several patents at once. Now all the bad things seem to be over, and the companies were even able to agree on the sharing of certain patents.
According to Ericsson, the agreement with ZTE was called “global”, satisfying both parties from a legal and financial point of view. The claims were withdrawn by Ericsson from all the courts where the case was considered, including the UK, Germany and Italy.

In general, very few people have paid attention to violations of patents of European, American and other companies implemented by companies from China. But after some Chinese manufacturers began to enter the international market, such companies entered the international legal field. Here ZTE and overtook, so to speak, the righteous anger of the Swedes. And ZTE could not simply ignore the allegations of patent infringement, they had to agree.
It should be noted that in 2011, ZTE achieved significant success in the production and supply of equipment for telecom operators, providers, hosting providers and other companies. In addition, ZTE works in the production of mobile phones, producing good models of smartphones and low-cost "dialers." Most ZTE smartphones work on Android.
