I don’t know how for you, but for me the past week was saturated. A little more than a week has passed since the
first post about Simpliste and a little less since the
second post . These few days brought both unexpected and pleasant events.
Simpliste , which I immediately called the template, did not claim either the role of the competitor framework Butstrap or the role of the site creation service in two clicks. Although, there were proposals to turn it into both. All I wanted was to give people the opportunity to download a couple of files, fill in with information and get a modern HTML5 website optimized for mobile devices. Still there are themes.
When I suggested creating themes for everyone, it’s hard to say what was more in me: skepticism or belief in the best. But judging by the fact that something made me do it, I remain mostly optimistic.
')
So, the rules were announced and a week went by.
We can immediately say that the queues from those who want to create something for free, and even upon the call, it is not known who (this is about himself) has not lined up. But I can say with confidence that I was not disappointed in people.
I sent and designs and ready-made themes. Those who were brought to the final stage by the authors got into the project (
on Githab ).
Are the goals met? In any case, even if it was not possible to overwhelm users of the template with a sea of new themes, I mobilized so much that I created several designs a day and all of them were already laid out and accessible. The minimum program was to make 20 topics. The site is now less. But if we consider the theme with variants of color schemes, then it turns out that 20 and even more.
It was also promised to announce the winners in several categories. Here they are:
- The most productive designer - Edik Svoboda (immediately sent 3 designs)
- The best coder - EgorKubasov (made the design and folded 2 themes with different color schemes, invited)
- All-rounder Master - Loginov Alexander (design and layout of the Maple theme, nobly refused an invite, plans to get through the sandbox)
- The most original solution is not defined.
Special thanks go to:
senyai for active participation in Github,
sandwarrior for the very first design sent,
Pavel Nosovich for participating in the selection of a license.
And:

And thanks to everyone who tests, advises and offers.
Eventually
It turned out that the whole idea was not in vain. There was something to do and myself and others. There were suggestions of different nature. There were acquaintances with colleagues. If the project is also beneficial, then the tasks can be considered completed.
Further it is planned to create high-quality design themes that are no longer as fast as at first, but will appear. I will try to update the
page with the news .
