In social networks, people build connections based on some of the characteristics that unite them. For example, these may be common interests (LiveJournal community and My Circle circles), places of study and work (for Odnoklassniki. , books, etc.).
I will repeat to make it clearer where I am getting at (we take the main thing that distinguishes the project from the rest; of course, in many respects they intersect):
* MyKrug - work (companies where they worked together);
* Classmates - schools where they studied together;
* VKontakte - universities, where they studied together.
')
All these projects exploit connections acquired by people in real life. In the life that is modeled by four-dimensional space. In other words, where it matters,
where you are and
when you are. If people sit at the same desk or in the same office, they have no choice but to get to know each other.
Why not put all this in one pile, making a project that will bring people together based on information about the place and time? Then the school, university, work - all this will become a special case of the general idea of combining - a strong idea, which is prompted by ordinary, real life. Other special cases will be at home, where we live (neighbors), places where we were born (countrymen), where we spend our holidays, where we make meetings, where we take our children for the day (kindergartens), where we watch movies (cinemas) and where we eat (cafe and restaurants). I am sure the list will be very long :-)
In my opinion, such a project would be a logical continuation of the process, the series of more or less successful projects that we have seen over the past two years.
What do you think?
