Eight US lawmakers refused to support SOPA after thousands of sites around the world stopped their work on Wednesday. According to experts, now the bill will not pass, since among the refused senators were Marco Rubio and Roy Blunt - the most ardent supporters of the bill.
Marco Rubio, who is a "rising star" in the Republican party,
wrote on Facebook that he and other senators "heard constructive questions about the impact of the bill on the right to access the Internet."
Let me remind you that WordPress,
Google ,
Reddit and many other sites joined the protest action Wikipedia on Wednesday, and Mark Zuckerberg
called SOPA a badly thought-out bill.
For the adoption of a controversial bill in the United States in favor of large Hollywood film studios, and against many companies in Silicon Valley.
