Amazon Free Usage Tier now includes Windows instance.

Amazon yesterday in its blog dedicated to Amazon Web Services, announced that from now on, the free EC2 package includes one t1.micro instance on Windows. This means that during the year after registration, the user will be able to use a full-fledged cloud server on Windows with 613 megabytes of RAM without any payment. Instances of this type are already available in all AWS regions.

This is a great addition to existing Amazon freebies.
