Somehow it so happened that now more and more devices are being computerized and Internet installed. On Habré, they often joke about this kind of device, mentioning irons connected to the web and other household appliances. The iron is not an iron, but the alarm clocks with their own operating system and connection to the web really appeared. The author of these little strange hybrid devices are the developers of the company Archos.
The alarm clock, if this device can still be called so, has a built-in display with a size of 3.5 inches. Naturally, the ubiquitous Android, version 2.2 Froyo, is installed as the OS. It is worth noting that the configuration of the alarm clock envy many modern mobile devices.

Here we have a TI OMAP3630 processor with a frequency of 1 GHz. There are 4 GB of internal memory, front VGA-camera (probably, in the morning to chat with colleagues on work in Skype). In addition, there is a slot for memory cards format microSD, as well as a wireless module Wi-Fi. Actually, this is a full-fledged tablet with a small display and a body that is not very comfortable to wear.
Interestingly, the developers connected the device to its own application store Archos AppsLib, removing the Android Market. The alarm clock also boasts a pre-installed browser and email client.

Actually, the device is really strange. Do you think this and similar devices will become popular? Personally, it seems to me that the alarm clock will find a very limited number of buyers in the face of very fanatical geeks.
