Developers from Google came up with an arcade game, Play Your World, in which the player chases a ball in a selected section of Google Maps. In February 2012, the game will appear in the Google+ Games directory, but for now you can evaluate the idea in a 27-second demo video .
As you can understand, the player chooses a section of the map - for example, the quarter in which he lives. Next, he manages the movement of the ball along a given route, knocking down bonuses along the road, in the role of which are pointers of real offline objects. You can drive the ball, including indoors, thanks to the recently introduced feature Go Indoors (Google Maps inside buildings ). It is possible to imagine that in multiplayer mode the colored balls of the players will race to the given point. ')
WebGL is used as a graphic engine, the game is made by employees from the Google Maps department.
