Drupal vs WordPress

Some time ago I made a community site, for which, on the strong recommendation of habra people, I used Drupal. What can I say: completely satisfied with this choice. A huge number of ready-made modules for all occasions + an excellent Russian-language resource drupal.ru, where I could quickly get answers to my questions. But I was particularly pleased with the OpenID module, which made it possible to use a LiveJournal account to authorize on my site ...

But these are all introductory words. Now there is a need (the soul asks) to make a personal blog on a separate site. I could use my experience with Drupal, but after seeing the most fashionable personal blogs, I noticed that they work on the WordPress engine.

I would like to know the opinion of experts. What is better for WordPress in creating a personal blog?
