A regular cosmonaut appeared in Google

Doctor of Astrophysics Edward Lu (Ed Lu) spent six months on the International Space Station, and will now work at Google. She is working together with the space agency NASA, recently released the program Google Sky , posted online detailed maps of the Moon and Mars.



Dr. Lou is known for his scientific work, including the design of a gravity tractor to deflect the orbit of a hypothetical asteroid that moves to Earth. According to Dr. Lu’s brilliant idea, a 20-ton rocket should fly around a 200-meter asteroid during the year, which, due to its own gravity, can divert it from the course.



With her experience in academic research in astrophysics, Dr. Lou will help Google on a number of projects, including Google Sky, Google Scholar and Google Books. He can also take work in the joint project of Google and NASA , which started in December 2006.
