Cut the Rope to HTML5! From the idea in Moscow to the announcement at CES

Today at the CES conference in Las Vegas, one of the world's leading scenes, an HTML5 version of one of the most popular games in the world, Cut the Rope, was announced at the Microsoft plenary report.

Let me remind you, this is one of the world's hits , already released on the iPhone, iPad, Android and made by the Russian company ZeptoLab. Cut the Rope was also the first game in the world that was shown on the current version of Windows 8 and in the new Windows Store about a month ago.



At the moment there are 25 levels in the game, including a special section only for Internet Explorer 9 users, which provides hardware accelerated HTML5 graphics.

Separately, I would like to note that this project began with our simple conversation last year in Moscow, where we discussed the possibilities and prospects of HTML5 - and today this is indeed a global announcement from Microsoft!



I asked Semyon Voinov, one of the brothers who created the game, to answer a few of my questions in a small mini-interview .
