The company Mitsubishi, comprehensively supporting the standard Blu-ray, recently announced its desire to bring something new to it. Namely - the third dimension.

Yes, again, the notorious "tride" and again, sadly, there is no talk of any new revolutionary technologies for displaying video data. All that the company offers is special Blu-ray players and special glasses that give the same three-dimensional effect of the picture.
However, there are some obvious advantages to the invention of Mitsubishi. In particular, the Japanese say that their 3D players and glasses will be able to convert any video content recorded on Blu-ray to a three-dimensional format. In other words, films will not require any preliminary conversions.

So far, all these promises cause only a slight interest and, of course, a fair amount of skepticism. Especially when you consider that Mitsubishi has not yet demonstrated working prototypes. Well, let's wait.
