Today, on August 27, Yandex launched mail for smartphones, communicators and PDAs, supported by all modern browsers. At the standard address mail.yandex.ru (or even shorter - mail.ya.ru) there will be “compact” mail, and the address for web browsers looks like this: pda.mail.ya.ru.
Functionally, the mobile version of Yandex Mail is almost as good as the full version and offers additional functions such as searching the mail archive and working with the address book.
By mobile mail, you can easily send photos taken on the built-in camera, or download pictures and ringtones for your mobile device from incoming letters.

New development has expanded the list of mobile services Yandex. Today, the following services and projects support the work in mobile browsers: Search, Catalog, Maps (with traffic jams for Moscow), Dictionaries, Playbill, Weather, Tv program, Blog search, Money, Market and WiFi.
