Bloglines completely redone

Yesterday, a radically new beta version of Bloglines was launched, which is rightly called the “grandfather of all online RSS readers” . The beta version is available at beta.bloglines.com . It implements Ajax, widgets and a customizable interface. The user can choose one of three options: a classic view mode with two panels, an interface like Outlook with three panels, or a “quick view” through widgets.

In the near future, Bloglines promises to implement other new functions, including the ability to save and publish texts, maintain a link blog, manage a blogroll, etc.

At the moment, the new beta version suffers from the "slashdot effect" and slows down so it is better to go there later. The old Bloglines interface is available at the old address.
