And everything is good, but sometimes the robot gets stuck. You go for a walk, launching a pre-robot, you are glad that when you come, you will see a clean floor. And when you come in, you see a completely different picture: a robot stuck randomly squeals and flashes the “I'm stuck” light, and the floor is only half clean. In general, there were people who created something like a social network for such robots, where devices can post their own messages.

The resource is called MyRobots , and here the robots can leave messages like "a cat in my way", or "the garbage bin is full." The user can remotely monitor the work of their robots / robot, and understand what is happening at the moment. In addition, according to the developers, devices can communicate with each other, sharing information, such as a map of the way in difficult places. Of course, to connect the robot to the web, both applications and additional devices are required. All this is in MyRobots.

The resource was opened on December 20, and the guys who sell these robots created it (I will not indicate the resource). At the start, only 227 devices were registered in MyRobots, but now the number of registrations continues to increase. Optimistic developers estimate that by 2020, 50 million devices will be registered with MyRobots.

The platform supports 17 different models of robots, not only from iRobot. Over the next few weeks, developers are going to add several new features, including commenting and other social tools. MyRobots also has an app store that is open to third-party developers. And yes, for now the service is free.

So far, of course, this social network can not help the user whose robot is stuck, but at least the information about this sad event will be available, and it will be possible to understand what awaits us upon arrival home.
