1.6-inch tablet from MOTOACTV sports watch

Now on Android OS there is a rather large number of various devices, and the sports watch / GPS-tracker MOTOACTV from Motorola is one of such gadgets. But after all, if there is Android, then the device must be quite functional? In this case, everything is a bit wrong, since Android is “sharpened” in MOTOACTV for the performance of certain functions, strictly limited. But now Chris Wade, a hacker in the positive sense of the term, decided to extend the functionality of MOTOACTV. Wade has previously worked on various DingleBerry releases for the PlayBook.

Immediately, Wade opened the watch and found that the OMAP 3630 processor runs at 600 MHz, plus 256 MB of RAM. In general, this configuration is enough for the original Android OS. Without thinking twice, Wade got a root for Gingerbread (this version is installed on MOTOACTV). Well, the matter remained for small - to turn an advanced sports device into a microplate.

Chris even managed to access the Android Market, where several applications were downloaded and installed. Of course, the number of these applications included the most popular game Angry Birds, as without it. Below you can find a few photos and videos of what happened as a result of the "refinement" of the watch from Motorola.

It is worth noting that Android is becoming an increasingly common operating system, this OS is installed on mobile devices, navigators, TVs and soon Android 4.0 will start to be installed on ordinary computers.
