It all started on a beautiful winter morning, at one of the suburban stations of the Yaroslavl direction of our wonderful railway.
Listening to the announcements of the announcer about the arrival of the train, I noticed strange familiar intonations in my voice.
Having listened better, there was no trace of doubt: the Russian Railways uses a speech synthesizer.
Maybe for some this news may not seem new, but I was surprised.
On the other hand, after all, what kind of savings, instead of paying a live speaker, it’s enough to buy a voice engine (or find a free one) and drive the whole text into a speaker.
By the way, he announces in the station's trains too, a “talker robot” :)
