Steve Jobs Wins Grammy Award

Steve Jobs posthumously won the Grammy Award , Mercury News reported.

The Academy of Recordings announced that Jobs will be awarded a special prize, which is awarded for services to those who had a great influence on the music business.

Jobs and Apple have completely changed the music industry in just a few years with the introduction of the iPod and the iTunes store. Jobs has long had a reputation as a music lover, with a particular interest in Bob Dylan and other folk singers.

Grammy management also announced the award winners in other special categories, including Allman Brothers , Glen Campbell , Antonio Carlos Jobim , George Jones , Memphis Horns , Diana Ross and Jill Scott-Heron .

All the award winners will be awarded on February 11, the day before the Grammy ceremony in Los Angeles.
