Node.JS support in Windows Azure

Recently, Microsoft quite actively supports the Node.JS project. A lot of work has already been done on porting Node to the asynchronous Windows I / O API (IOCP) and recently Node.JS support was announced in Microsoft Windows Azure cloud hosting. Access to Azure cloud services is available through an SDK published on GitHub , which can also be installed using npm:

npm install azure

In general, this looks like good news for the Node.JS community. Despite the great interest, a certain skepticism about the “frivolous” technology, which is not ready for use in “real” projects, remains in the project. Following such developers, many customers are also in no hurry to use the Node platform for their projects. So the support from Microsoft can help not only with the deployment of the project in the cloud, but it is also possible to dispel some fears for those who consider Node.JS as a technology for their new project.
