Despite rumors suggesting that Google might not extend the default search engine agreement with Mozilla in the Firefox browser, the following message appeared on the official Mozilla blog:

We’re pleased to agree on a significant and mutually beneficial agreement with Google. This is an agreement.
“Under this multi-year agreement, we’ll find out that we’re around the world,” said Gary Kovacs, CEO, Mozilla.
“Come on,” said Google Alan Eustace, Senior Vice President of Search, Google.
They are subject to traditional confidentiality requirements.

We are pleased to announce that negotiations on the extension of an important and mutually beneficial agreement with Google have come to an end. The new contract will extend our cooperation with Google for at least three years.
“As part of this multi-year agreement, Google Search will remain the default search provider for hundreds of millions of Firefox users worldwide,” said Gary Kovacs, Mozilla’s chief executive officer.
“Mozilla has been a valuable partner for Google for many years, and we look forward to the continuation of this great partnership in the coming years,” said Alan Eustace, senior vice president, Search, Google.
The terms of this agreement are, alas, confidential and not subject to disclosure.
