I do not know about you, but I read blogs through Google Reader. When I upload it, I see a list of RSS feeds on the left and the number of new posts in it opposite each in brackets. And that's what I noticed -
I automatically reach out to read those channels in which the minimum number of posts appeared. I always start with those in which only 1 post was added, and then I move upward.

The problem is that I don't have much time reading news. And I almost never read everything that was added to my reader in a day. Thus, I ALWAYS read through the channels in which 1 post was added per day and almost NEVER read those in which 5-6 posts are added per day. After all, tomorrow there will be 10 of them, the day after tomorrow of 15 ... and I will never get to them.
')
I tried to understand my feelings - why do I start reading from channels with single posts? And I came to this conclusion: my reader is the quintessence of interesting and useful information for me. I myself make and maintain a list of my subscriptions. Each post in each channel is potentially interesting to me. There is no water. But physically I don’t have time to read everything. Therefore, when I start reading, I unconsciously try to REDUCE the list of unread channels. So I feel more comfortable. So I feel that I read more and keep up with life. And the easiest way to do this is to read the channels with single posts - then the list will quickly decrease vertically.
Findings:
1. For bloggers, writing 1 post per day is best. It is much more likely to be read. So do
Dmitry Davydov , read by me,
Vitaly Kolesnik and some more people.
2. As an option - you can write 2-3-4 very small posts, literally from 3-5 lines. This is what
Alex Moskalyuk usually does - and there is no day for me not to read it.
3. You need to fight with yourself and periodically remove from the subscription channels, the number of unread posts in which Google Reader marks as (100+). Anyway, reading them is not destiny for me - so let it be that they don’t put pressure on my brain ...
And how are you with this case? Nerves from the RSS and not naughty?
