The LinguaLeo button is a convenient browser extension for translating unfamiliar words and phrases and adding them to your personal dictionary on LinguaLeo.ru (a web service for learning English). The button can be installed with Yandex.Bar on Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer browsers. For Chrome, there is a separate application from LinguaLeo which we described in a previous post. Application for Opera is expected in the near future.

Allows you to listen, translate and instantly add English words and phrases from any web pages to your personal dictionary LinguaLeo.ru
The added words are saved with the usage context, the selected translation and a link to the source of the addition.
Inside the service LinguaLeo.ru you can take interactive exercises to consolidate the understanding of the added words.
Double clicking on the English word will show the list of popular translations for the given word.
You can choose one of them, look in the online dictionaries or enter your own translation.
Next to the added word is a voice button and a picture of the word.
If you want to translate not a word, but a phrase - select the text, right-click on it and select “Show popular translations” or “Add phrase to dictionary” in the context menu - the phrase will be translated and added to your dictionary on LinguaLeo.
In addition, if you do not like the behavior of the button (already using a double click?), You can change it in the settings.
If you already have an account on LinguaLeo - you only need to log in to the service in your browser.
