Maybe someone I will not open America with this post, but the information seemed interesting to me, and it was not widely covered on the web.

An association of mobile application developers will be created in Russia. Wow!

And the point is not that this could in some measure be a landmark event - well, the Association does not matter, but the fact that we obviously live at the birth of a new industry. Or this: the industry was already born some time ago — it passed through the birth canal and burst into the world with a cry, and now it also receives a birth certificate in the Russian Federation too.

Some time ago this happened to the web (unfortunately, I missed everything while I was walking under the table), now it happens with mobile applications (now I’ll not miss the moment). And in my humble assessment - it will be a new 'must' at least for business.

I will not retell all the interviews with the founders of the Association - if you're interested, read. But I want to give only a quote that personally inspires and inspires me:

“The association will be engaged in educational activities, organize contests, promote the growth of developer competences; to regulate the market, to coordinate the actions of members on the education of clients; give expert assessments, say “shit” for shit and “cool crap” for cool crap so that in the minds of market participants there is an understanding of what is good and what is bad. ”

I hope these are not only words, and I am waiting for the development of events.
