About six months ago, I transferred my working computer to SSD and
unsubscribed to Habré . Let me remind you that it was a 115GB Corsair on which I sloped the system with an old screw. After running the reading tests, I received impressive results and was pleased with the elephant.
What has changed?
First, about the well-being:

(thanks to
AYA for the license :-)).
In addition to the steps
described by me , I did not do anything - the paging file did not move, the% Temp% folder also. The system worked 24/7 and rebooted only 20 times. As you can see, for almost seven months I recorded about one and a half terabytes of data with only 16% of free space. During this time, nothing terrible happened - the disk controller still reports 100% health. I think by the year 2019 I will have time to change the disk more than once.
Now about the speed. Expectedly, after a fairly long use, the read speed has dropped. On a fresh disk, the average read speed was 214MB / s, and after half a year it fell to 103 MB / s.
It was:

It became:

I will refrain from commenting, but I suspect that six months ago when testing, the SSD was not a system disk and the system did not greatly affect the results. For comparison, here is the speed of that 250 gig sigate, which I still have as a backup disk:

Notice how smooth the screw schedule is compared to the same test six months ago:

I will somehow try to boot from the old screw, and run the SSD test again. Maybe I will get more correct results.
Conclusion: the patient is healthy, fast and expects many years of life.
