Skype 2.6 for Android: file transfer in chat

On December 13, a version of Skype 2.6 was released in the Android Market, which works on devices with Android 2.1 and higher.

What's new :

• the process of automatic authorization and exit from the program was simplified (the button for exit appeared in a prominent place);
• improved interface;
• voice mail enhancements;
• file transfer in chat ( screenshot )
• Optimization for the Nvidia Tegra 2 chipset: as a result, on devices such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Motorola Xoom and Acer Iconia tablet, the video quality and battery life have been improved; It seems that the problem was in the poor quality of full-screen video on the big screen, now it looks great;
• expanded the list of devices for which video chat is officially supported: HTC Amaze 4G and Motorola Droid Razr have been added to it - these devices have been tested in Skype; but you can try the video on any device with Android 2.2+: if you're lucky, in the Skype settings you will find the option to enable video calling (enable video calls).
