I have always been interested in the question: why almost all Internet startups, which later became successful in the global market, were based solely in North America? Why there are no Japanese, Brazilian, Chinese, or, say, Russian sites widely used around the world? What is the catch? The language barrier? Cultural? Financial? The magic of the market?
