ReactOS Digest # 3: Moving on

On November 29, 2011, representatives of the ReactOS project team took part in the 4th annual Federal Innovation Convention . The result was a channel 5 report, which can be seen below (journalists, as always, have somewhat embellished reality) , and the start of promising cooperation with several new partners.

• German bank donated 1000 euros to a project
• Implemented Microsoft Visual C ++ Redistributable support. Soon, hundreds of new applications will be launched that require these libraries in the system.
• It turned out that scanners with the scsi interface are already working in ReactOS
• The authors of WinRAR and Total Commander helped the team in eliminating the bugs related to their software. We express our gratitude to them and appeal to all authors of software reading this message: take part in debugging your products under our system. We will be glad to any participation.
• As part of the "PI Operations" , pre-release testing of applications has been started. All are welcome.
