Have you ever come across a combination of i18n? To guess what it means is hardly possible - you need to know in advance. And it means this:
i18n (i, 18 other letters, n) - internationalization
l10n (l, 10 other letters, n) - localization
g11n (g, 11 other letters, n) - globalization
a11y (a, 11 other letters, y) - accessibility
These abbreviations are used by programmers who need to translate programs into different languages. Perhaps only g11n (globalization) can meet other people in their daily lives.
By the way, this phenomenon is called numeronym.
