Synterra launches the Siberian part of the backbone network
The press service of CJSC Synterra reported on the delivery to the supervisory authorities and the introduction into commercial operation of the Siberian section of the backbone network on the route Novosibirsk - Barnaul - Biysk - Kemerovo - Novokuznetsk - Yurga - Novosibirsk with branches to Tomsk and Gorno-Altaisk.
The total length of this part of the network, which passes through the territory of five regions of the Siberian Federal District and includes eight trunk nodes, is more than 1600 km; maximum throughput is 10 Gb / s. At the moment, the trunk intercity network of Synterra has a total length of more than 35 thousand km.
