Google+ has introduced face recognition on uploaded photos.

Google has once again updated its social network, adding some interesting features. Probably, none of the new products deserve such attention as the function of recognizing faces on downloaded images with subsequent tagging. This function is called “Find my Face”, you need to enable it yourself. It is worth recalling that Facebook introduced a similar tool for quite some time, having fallen under the barrage of criticism immediately after the announcement of the new item. It is clear that not every person wants his face to be identified and presented to the general public. Google, bearing in mind the problems with the "colleague", went the other way.

Actually, this way is to give an opportunity to independently choose whether he wants the system to “recognize” him in any photo or not. If the system sees a person in a photo in someone's account, it informs the identified user about it, and asks him about the possibility of tagging. The user can agree, and the tagging will be done, or refuse, in this case for all the others he will remain incognito, i.e. no mark will be affixed.

Gmail has also been updated with Google+, becoming even more social than before. Now you can add users from Gmail to circles from Google+. In addition, you can post content from Gmail on Google+ without having to leave your webmail account from Google. Moreover, you can set the sorting of messages in your mailbox according to the priorities set earlier for Google+ circles. Well, for example, it is possible for a couple of mouse clicks to leave visible only the messages of their relatives. Well, or vice versa, only messages from strangers who do not belong to any of the circles on Google+.

In general, the updates are quite significant, so it’s worth a try to work with them. Yes, all these functions will be available for all users (and not for the test group) for a couple of days.
