DocHub.io is a handy reference for HTML, CSS, Javascript

The Internet is filled with a huge amount of documentation for web developers. But, unfortunately, the use of most of the documentation is rather inconvenient. For example, take the Mozilla Developer Network (MDN) . The Mozilla Developer Network site offers a lot of documentation on CSS, JavaScript, HTML, SVG, etc., but navigating through it is tiring - there is no global menu and the search is not so convenient.

This led developer Rafael Garcia to create instaCSS - a quick way to view the CSS documentation from MDN. Thanks to a good search function and a clean, simple design with a good global menu, instaCSS has become a hit in the opinion of Hacker News readers. Due to the high demand, Garcia transferred the project to a wider domain DocHub.io and expanded the search in CSS, HTML, JavaScript and DOM.

Garcia released DocHub on GitHub , which means you can create your own local copy of the site and use it when you do not have access to the Internet (although such times are becoming rare for most of us).

Although DocHub is a good project, it is not without flaws. For example, it lacks unique URLs, so you cannot link to a specific section. It also uses the hash url and there will be problems with the back button in the browser.

Nevertheless, despite these problems, DocHub.io is one of the best documentation sites - certainly worth adding to your bookmarks.
