Long ago, when I was working in one of the startups, where I was the main initiator and promoter of TDD implementation, I had a dispute with my “technical director” (if you could call it that) on how TDD affects the resulting code. He made one simple remark to which I could not then find what to answer to him - “With a similar approach to development, additional interfaces appear in the code (I practiced an approach to testing with the help of Mocks, Stubs and interface implementations substitution) and levels that complicate and slow down the code. "
