Laptops are pretty fragile stuff. At the same time, having a fairly large mass, the fall of the laptop, even from a small height, can mean "death" of the entire device or "only" of the hard disk. Well, if you consider that data is rarely archived and few people think about the need for such archiving before problems arise, the appearance of a protected laptop can be a good solution. So, Lenovo has introduced a new laptop, which the manufacturer is positioning as a device for students.
The laptop is called ThinkPad X130e. The developers really tried: the device received some special elements to protect electronic components in case of a fall. This applies not only to the hard drive, but to the whole “filling” in general. As for the hard disk, the creators of the laptop have built an accelerometer, which determines the moment of the fall, and parks the hard disk heads (in fact, this technology is not particularly new).

Laptop ThinkPad X130e, rather, is a netbook - the size of its diagonal is only 11.6 inches. In addition, the entire system works on the basis of the Intel Core i3-2367M platform. The maximum amount of RAM is 8 GB (2 GB is installed in the system), plus a hard disk with a capacity of 500 GB is installed. There are also three USB 2.0 ports, a standard Ethernet card reader, HDMI and VGA. As for wireless communication modules, the ThinkPad X130e has WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0 installed.
It is worth highlighting the battery, which lasts about 8 hours of operation of the device. The cost of the laptop is not as great as one might think. For a ThinkPad X130e with the purchase you will need to pay 470 US dollars. But, of course, it is in the USA or Europe. In the CIS countries, as usual, the cost of the device will be higher.
